There are signs on Walter St., Jamaica Plain (intersecting Bussey St.) indicating a 2 hour parking limit to allow folks visiting the Arnold Arboretum a place to park. This restriction started in Feb. but there cars/trucks every day that are parked there for the entire day. This has been on going since February which limits the parking spaces available for people who are actually visiting the Arboretum which is why the signs were put up in the first place. When is this going to get enforced? There is always someone parking too close to the fire hydrant and parked too close to another parked vehicle. Two months have gone by and there is NEVER enforcement. Why bother putting up these signs? The weather is getting warmer and I'm sure more people would like to take a walk in the Arboretum if they could find a parking spot.
