Description
Just a follow up to a report I put in while I am happy with how quick the response was I?m confused why the case has been closed. The sidewalk was not repaired instead covered over the tree is still causing damage to the sidewalk by the spreading of the tree root as well as to my property the wall into my front yard is being affected by the root if we could please look into this matter further I?d appreciate it

    Case Noted | The tree in question is alive and healthy and does not warrant being removed. The Boston Parks and Recreation Department is not responsible for maintaining sidewalks or repairing them. A case will be made by the BPRD to Public Works for them to inspect the sidewalk and for appropriate repairs. If you have questions regarding the sidewalk please follow up with public works.
