- Several asphalt sidewalk patches on Barrington Road were done after utility work last year. We understand that these temporary patches are to be replaced with concrete. Just want to make sure it gets scheduled. Thank you. Howard Levy

Case Resolved | Dear Constituent, The Boston Public Works Department Construction Inspection Unit (CIU) has identified the sidewalk left in asphalt as belonging to Eversource Electric The location has been entered into the CIU data base that tracks sidewalk cuts left in HMA needing to be restored within 60 days. The CIU Inspector will periodically check the condition of the asphalt patch. If the asphalt patch does not meet our standards they will need to repair the asphalt ASAP until the permanent restoration is scheduled. The CIU will monitor the progress of the repair.
