    Case Resolved | Dear Constituent, The Boston Public Works Construction Inspection Unit (CIU) has contacted National Grid and informed them that based on the sinkholes within their trench , the sinkholes be investigated and repaired under our sinkhole repair guidelines. National Grid is stating it could be other utility companies We told them they have to make the repairs unless they can prove it was someone else Because of dig safe requirements the repair may have to wait a few days. The permiteee is responsible to place a temporary repair or plate until then The location has been added to our database that tracks sinkholes. The CIU Inspector will monitor the progress of the repair.
