Case Noted | Thank you for submitting a request for a new bike rack from the Boston Transportation Department. While we cannot guarantee a rack at the location you requested, we have added it to our list for consideration. Please note that we are currently prioritizing the siting of racks within Main Streets areas, along commercial corridors, and in partnership with civic institutions such as libraries and community centers. For example, this year we are focusing on Dorchester Avenue and the Bowdoin/Geneva Main Streets area in Dorchester, the Washington Street corridor in Lower Roxbury, Boylston Street in the Back Bay, and Western Avenue in Allston. We also appreciate hearing from constituents about where racks would be useful—thank you again for sharing your request.
