Case Resolved | Dear Constituent, The Boston Public Works Construction Inspection Unit (CIU) has been working with the Boston Water& Sewer Commission (BWSC) to try to determine why this sinkhole keeps appearing They have performed initially testing which states there are no broken pipes around the sinkhole BWSC states because of COVID-19 they are shorthanded and won?t be able to perform a test of the entire pipe right away The City totally understands their predicament In the interest of public safety we will have the sinkhole plated in the next day or so Once testing is fully done and it is officially confirmed there are no underground pipe issues?
