- Description
- There is a tree in a sidewalk planter at Readers' Park near the corner of School St and Washington St just across from the Old South Meeting House. It appears that this tree is rotting from the inside and has fungus growing inside of it. There is a significant hole in the trunk and we are worried about the structural integrity of the tree. I am not sure if this tree belongs to the city of Boston or if it's private property.
