This tree fell directly across city land and crashed into my home, which now has extensive roof and structural damage. I’ve included a visual PDF (Redwing_City Property_Tree_Fall.pdf) that identifies: The precise fall path of the tree from city-owned open space behind Letterfine Terrace; Its impact zone on my private residence; The relevant addresses and parcel boundaries via Google Maps satellite view. I am requesting the following: Confirmation of city ownership or control over the lot the tree stood on; Any existing records of tree maintenance, pruning, inspection, or complaints previously filed in that area; A formal acknowledgment that this tree originated from city land and crossed city space before damaging my property; Guidance on next steps for initiating a municipal liability or tort claim process.
