Traffic Signal Repair
Is it a traffic or pedestrian signal problem: [Traffic] What is the problem with the traffic signal: [Other] Please explain: [There's constant honking in this residential area due to a confusing traffic signal. On the south headed lanes, cars on the left lane can either stay on Boylston street or turn left to get on Park drive. The problem is when the left turn signal turns green while the straight ahead signal is still red. If one of the cars on this left lane is planning to stay on Boylston street, all the cars behind wanting to make a left either aggressively skip the double yellow line on to on-coming traffic and make the turn or miss the light. This causes a lot of disturbance in the area due to all the loud honking and screaming angry drivers. A possible solution is syncing both lights (the turn left on to Park dr light and the keep going straight on to Boylston st), so that they turn green, yellow, and red at the same time. The honking is really disturbing the residents and walk biers of this nice area, Please help us. Thank you.] Is the Pole knocked down: [No]

Traffic Signal Repair
Is it a traffic or pedestrian signal problem: [Pedestrian Signal] What is the problem with the traffic signal: [Other] Please explain: [update: Please have someone from Traffic Signals, especially knowledge in repair of push button activated signals check out the signal in the SW quadrant of Arlington and James (outise of Circle Furniture). St Jamses for many drivers is an entrance ramp to Rt 90. City should automate the walk cycle, so it is not dependent on push button activation. This is a busy enough pedestrian thorough fare due to T station to warrant an automatic cycle for crossing St. James on the odd (western) side of Arlington. The button when depressed has no resistance. It is physically there but does not function and does not trip the light. The only way to get a walk signal is to shout to a pedestrian across the street to push it on side (at 75 Arlington St/ 10 St James). Please pass on significant details, again this is a high rent bussiness district and an active pedestrian througough fare. Please impress the importance. Also, many cars turn right from Arlington onto St. James on their way to Rt 90, and there is no gap between Arlington St vehicular green and St. James vehicular green, so without the button working, pedestrians have to cross against the red do not walk light while there is active vehicular traffic. Not a good situation, when you have pedestrians walking during green vehicular cycles. Web Chat: When will the actuator button for crosswalk signal outside of Circe Furniture at the intersection of Arlington and St. James be repaired? For pedestrians walking from the Arlington Street T station across St. James to walk to 75 Arlington Street on the odd side.] Is the Pole knocked down: [No]
