There is a pole with signs for Porter St. & Orleans St. However, the road that leads to the stadium is not posted or named. Please correct. This would clarify the location of many incidents in this area. I am not sure if it is missing, but I would like to suggest a Left Turn on Green Arrow sign at the intersection of Boylston St and Park Dr. Although there is a left green arrow on this light, there is a sign 30 feet further up the road that states No Left Turn to prevent cars from making a quasi U-turn onto Park Dr. I take this left turn off of Boylston onto Park Dr Monday through Friday, and, on a number of occasions, drivers behind me have become infuriated with me because they believe (incorrectly) a left turn is prohibited at that intersection. Respectfully, in the interest of keeping the peace and keeping blood pressures down, I suggest the installation of a sign to indicate that a left turn is permissible at this intersection. There is a significant need for a stop sign on Spring Park Avenue at Centre Street in Jamaica Plain near the Mary Curley School. I live close-by and work form home with a window facing the intersection. Drivers enter Centre Street aggressively and I have witnessed many close calls and several accidents. I am concerned for pedestrian safety as well as vehicle safety. Feel free to contact me if you need further information.
