I would like to inquire about who is responsible for pruning the McKinney Park trees that are growing over and through the fence onto our property at 21 Sanderson Place in Brighton. I believe it has been several years since these trees were last pruned and at the time, the trees were not growing over and through the fence. While we enjoy the shade the trees provide, these tree branches are getting quite tall and long and we fear them causing more damage. In October we contacted 311 about a large branch that broke off during a storm and luckily it only damaged some patio furniture. Their growth has also dislodged some of the upper most level of fencing over the last few years. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. A resident named Tom Lawless called the BPS superintendent's line to express concern about the condition of some trees that abut a home owned by his wife (Theresa Conti) at 49 Imrie Road in Allston next to the Horace Mann School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. The trees are located near a barn on the 49 Imrie Road property that was built in 1849. Mr. Lawless is concerned that the trees are unhealthy and could be knocked over in a storm and cause damage to the barn. Mr. Lawless would like the trees trimmed . I am trying to determine if the trees are located on property owned by BPS or the Parks Department. The address of the school is 40 Armington Street. Are you able to determine ownership of this land?
