Dead and live rats, dead and live flies, and blood in basement of building. The flies are flesh flies and now there are ants coming in to eat the dead flies. Repeated offenses with no change in pest management. I have reported this before as have many other tenants in our building both to Fineberg maintenance and management and through 311. This is our laundry room! There are dead flies on top of our washing machines and all over the floors. Smeared, splattered, and pooled blood on the floor.

We could use your help - there is an abandoned building on the corner of Shawmut and Waltham street in the south end owned by Mansour family which used to be the Sahara Restaurant- the building, fences and property are not kept and are overrun by rats and weeds- it additions the fencing posts are broken petruding onto the sidewalk - is there anything you could do to help clean this up ? Thank you

Since construction began at 5 Monument St., our neighborhood has experienced a significant increase in rat activity. Multiple neighboring property owners have had to invest in additional pest control services, trapping, exclusion work, and other rodent prevention measures as rats have migrated and attempted to burrow into surrounding properties. It is our understanding that the construction project did not have an adequate rodent mitigation plan in place before and during excavation. As a result, neighboring homeowners have incurred costs that would likely have been avoided with appropriate preventative measures. We request reimbursement for the expenses we have incurred to mitigate this increase in rodent activity.

I am submitting a follow-up complaint regarding the ongoing rodent infestation at the Curley K-8 School. While an inspection was conducted last week and a reinspection is scheduled for 7/21, conditions inside the building have not improved. In fact, the mouse activity appears to be worsening. Mice are continuing to run through hallways and classrooms during the school day while students are actively receiving instruction. Staff and students are observing mice in learning spaces on a daily basis. This is not limited to evidence of rodent activity—live mice are frequently visible during instructional time. The students currently attending ESY are students with disabilities who receive special education services under IEPs. The presence of mice in classrooms is causing significant disruptions to learning, attention, emotional regulation, and participation. Instruction is regularly interrupted when mice appear, and students are becoming distressed, distracted, and unable to focus on educational activities. This situation is also affecting staff. Teachers, therapists, paraprofessionals, and other school personnel are expected to work in an environment where rodents are visibly running through classrooms and common areas. This is unacceptable and creates ongoing concerns regarding health, sanitation, and workplace safety. At this point, the conditions are absurd. No student or staff member should be expected to learn or work in a building with an active rodent infestation. Students with disabilities deserve a safe, sanitary, and minimally distracting educational environment, and staff deserve a work<truncated>

After the rodent closed the Starbucks at cell station down or any of the other restaurants or stores looked at in South Station they can’t only be in Starbucks

Still having a rat problem. Nothing g was ever done about open drain in front of our house. Also have had exterminators out for over a year now and they seem to think rats could be possibly getting in through sewer system.

Rats!! There must be 10-12 rats running around this alley and parking lot.
