email to Mayor reports:Mattapan Municiple Parking Lot - River Street MESSAGE:The municiple parking lot where cars are directed to park during a snow emergency has not been cleared of snow enough to pass through and/or park. Multiple businesses are having problems taking deliveries due to the hap-hazard parking of those cars parking there. Multiple spots have not seen a plow in weeks and snow piles are not being pushed back sufficient to allow cars to park and other to get around them when they do park. The postal service drivers are reporting the problem as a safety concern so I am responsible to address the issue with the city. This is an issue with the Boston Common parking garage (I believe owned by the convention center) Caller was having a problem with the Boston Common Parking garage; during a snow emergency he parked his car in the garage. When he left, he was charged full-rate (~$72) by an attendant, despite having a Back Bay Resident sticker, which would allow him to park for $4. He didn't realize and when he returned later (with the receipt), he was told by the attendant that it's too late and nothing can be done. Caller reports that she received a ticket for parking in the lot for over 2 hours. She works nearby and feels that there is nowhere else to park and people will keep getting tickets if the time limit is 2 hours. | Municipal lot number on the posted sign: [No] Nature of the call: [Enforcement]

Vandals cut hole in fence so as to use it to evade police. States everyday, large groups of people congregate to drink/smoke and when police arrive, they run out through hole in fence cutting through neighbor's yards.
