The interesection at Arlington and Park Plaza is a hazard. There are lines that tell guide the left lane into the center lane, and the center lane becomes the right lane. The right lane becomes a right turn only. People ignore the lines on the street and do whatever they want at this intersection. I've almost gotten into multiple accidents since they switched the traffic laws and added the lines without any signage to make it clear. I follow the rules of the road, but that intersection is neither monitored well and needs to be addressed.

New bike lane reduces the traffic from 3 down 2 lanes! Nobody using the bike lane and causing extreme traffic
CLOSED #101005901021Case Resolved. While all streets with bike lanes and many without them receive heavy bicyclist traffic, the common misconception that bike lanes are unused is believed by many Bostonians. This is mostly due to the fact that bikes take up so much less space than cars and move so much faster on city streets, due to their small size preventing and bypassing roadway congestion.

The sidewalks around the Saunders building on Park Place are often closed for the threat of protests. When you do this, you block handicap access to the sidewalk at least 2 places. This means that people in a wheelchair have to be wheeled in the street which is absolutely not safe. | Case (SR) Type: [BPD: Quality of Life] Referred To: [POLICE: AREA A-1]
CLOSED #101005795583Case Resolved. This issue has been resolved. Thanks Capt Driscoll.

Traffic enforcement badly needed at Arlington & Park Plaza. Just relentless bad driver behavior, constantly blocking the crosswalks and box, creating very unsafe conditions during evening rush hour every single day. | Case (SR) Type: [BPD: Traffic/Parking] Referred To: [POLICE: AREA A-1]
CLOSED #101005787453Case Resolved. Recvd , I will request enhanced traffic enforcement. Thanks R Driscoll BPD.

Strikers outside park plaza are louder than previous week. They used to only stay from approx 7am-7:30am outside the Statler Park side annoying local residents …. today it’s been since 7am and it’s now almost 8am with no end in sight - they are certainly targeting residents in an attempt to get US to do something. This is so unfair, I’m having heart palpitations and anxiety every morning from the noise. | Case (SR) Type: [BPD: Quality of Life] Referred To: [POLICE: AREA A-1]

Forward this complaint to the Mayor’s office and community liaison immediately. In the words of the protesters currently outside the Park Plaza, they have admitted that they are aware that the noise is a public nuisance to the nearby residents and are purposely targeting the residents now so that we call Hilton and ask for new contracts on their behalf. This is no longer a legal strike when innocent residents are being targeted and harassed for almost a month. This needs to stop and is beyond disturbing that any group would purposely target children, families, and the elderly. 311 is supposed to be a resource for the COMMUNITY, and the community liaisons are supposed to support the COMMUNITY. So why are the residents near the Park Plaza being told that the our rights, livelihood, and health don’t matter to this city? And who plans to reimburse us for lost wages, doctor’s bills, and the cost of moving? | Case (SR) Type: [Miscellaneous] Referred To: [ONS: CHINATOWN/DOWNTOWN]
