Follow up on case BCS-00299843. The address is 56 Harding Road Roslindale 02131. The address is NOT what this website lets me put - which is 56A Harding Road. Tree is leaning diagonal across road and city trash and recycle and Amazon trucks are hitting it. A branch is loose and swinging like a pendulum. It is dangerous. The case says this was closed due to it being a private road but this part of the road on city maps is owned by the city of Boston and not a private part of the road. There is a strong likelihood that a child walking by or a car driving by(many cars drive down the street as a shortcut) will suffer serious injury. The tree is on City land located in front of 56 Harding Rd. At the juncture of Harding Road and Bradstreet Avenue.

The tree is suffering from drought stress which has brought on leaf blight. A common side effect for drought stressed trees. Providing extra water to the root zone of the tree during dry periods can help the tree ward off disease. All public street trees in the City of Boston are protected by state law (MGL CH 87) and will not be removed at this time. The tree has been inspected for pruning.
