Multiple snakes have been observed outside the residential property at 51-57 Humboldt Ave Peabody Properties. Residents are concerned about safety. Please inspect the area or advise whether Animal Care and Control can respond. Photos are available.

I am requesting a formal housing-code inspection of my rental apartment at 55 Brighton, Allston, MA 02134, Apt. 202, for an ongoing rodent infestation. Since July 13, management has conducted three maintenance visits and three professional pest-control visits, but rodent activity continues. I continue to find fresh droppings after treatment, including in new locations such as near the bathroom and around the dishwasher, and additional apparent entry points have continued to be identified. I have also observed a live rodent inside the apartment and found droppings and apparent contamination in the kitchen and on personal property. I have fully cooperated with management’s remediation efforts, but the condition remains active. I am requesting an inspection of the current conditions and written findings regarding compliance with applicable housing and sanitary requirements.

Due to much construction, large rats(3) have been spotted in the backyards on Munroe and Harold Streets.

Location to enter in the app: 80 Peterborough St, Boston, MA 02215 Description:"Severe and dangerous rat infestation on the public sidewalk and dirt areas between 76 and 82 Peterborough St. Every night, between 8 PM and 6 AM, dozens of massive rats travel in lines of 4 or 5 right across the pedestrian walkway. They have dug huge, highly visible burrows in the dirt areas next to the buildings. The current black bait boxes are completely failing; the rats are nesting directly underneath them and multiplying. This is a critical public health hazard for neighbors and pedestrians walking by at night. Please send Inspectional Services (ISD) to treat these dirt burrows aggressively with dry ice or direct treatments immediately."
