Pest Infestation - Residential
170 172 Falcon St, East Boston, Ma, 02128Hi there, we have been experiencing an increase in rat activity in our neighbors backyard and now our backyard/alley for a few months now. There are clear burrows on the outside of both homes and the city doesn't seem interested in taking any real effort to help fix the issue. We need rat control boxes at the very least lining the alley of our homes.
CLOSED #101006330855Noted. Will inspect area for rat activity.

Pest Infestation - Residential
54 56 Brooks St, East Boston, Ma, 02128There has been a serious and ongoing trash accumulation and rodent infestation problem coming from the backyards of two neighboring buildings 52 and 54 Brooks St - East Boston. For the past 2–3 years, the owners have not taken consistent action to clean or control the issue. Trash, old furniture, and debris continue to pile up, attracting large numbers of mice and rats. This situation now affects surrounding buildings, including ours, and poses a health and safety risk for families with children and pets. The problem has been reported multiple times, but no visible action has been taken. Please have an inspector assess the properties and take enforcement action as soon as possible. I can provide photos if needed. Contacts for the properties: • 54 Brooks St: keith@brookproperty.com • 52 Brooks St: (781) 851-4004
CLOSED #101006330497Noted. A citation was issued at this location for the improper storage of all the trash on the ground as well as the mattress being stored improperly, and noted that this property needed to be cleaned up immediately or citations would continue to be issued!
