Recently, there was a stop sign put up on Lake Street at the intersection of Glenmont Road and Lake Street in Brighton. It was wonderful to see a stop sign there as there was no traffic light or stop sign on Lake Street from Commonwealth Ave. to Washington Street. It created a safe place to cross Lake Street. The stop sign is no longer there. This is near a BPS school, BC campus, a park, and a pond. It is a street that cars tend to go down very fast because drivers know there’s no stop in between Commonwealth Avenue and Washington Street. It is dangerous and we need the stop sign out back up on Lake Street at the intersection of Glenmont Road. Picture of area attached. You can see how close the BPS school is and the BC campus. There should also be a sign before that intersection warning that a stop sign is ahead.

Intersection of Claymoss Road and Commonwealth Ave in Brighton, MA, is missing a stop sign. Vehicles exiting Claymoss Road via a right turn onto Commonwealth Ave are not stopping before entering the intersection. Commonwealth Ave traffic has right of way.

Location: Parker Street (between Gurney St and Prentiss St) adjacent to Wentworth athletic field During construction of the new Wentworth athletic stadium, all previously posted traffic regulation signage (No Stopping/No Standing and corner clearance signage) was removed and never reinstalled. Vehicles are now parking up to the curb line and into the intersection approach, severely obstructing visibility when exiting side streets and creating a safety hazard for motorists and pedestrians. This area previously had posted restrictions and was historically regulated. Requesting Traffic Engineering review to restore prior regulations and reinstall appropriate signage and corner clearance marking.
