Abandoned building at  22 Kenilworth Street in Roxbury open to the elements and overgrown vegetation and trash.

What is the nature of the problem: [Caller reports that the owner of this house paased away many years ago. Caller reports that the neice claimed the property. Caller reports that the building and property have fallen into disrepair. Caller reports various issues, such as mold, water leaks, animals (including snakes), and trespassers. Caller is fearful for her grandchildren because the animals are coming into her yard. Caller has notified Code Enforcement many times and citations are issued, but the tickets are ignored by the owner. Caller believes the building is abandoned and would like it to be inspected.]

What is the nature of the problem: [The building has been vacant for several years. There was some work started but never finished. The dumpster and port-a-john remained on the property and the dumpster is overflowing and has been sitting there for months. The property is overgrown with tall grass and weeds taller than the dumpster. There are also rats running around all over the dumpster and surrounding area.]

A window has fallen out and almost hit a woman, and a wall on his property has not been fixed. There are also animals on the property, as well. She says that an inspector was supposed to come, but has not shown up. She says that the owner's name is Jeff.]

The caller believes that there is drug activity as well on a regular basis. She requests that the city help the property keep away trespassers.]
