What is the nature of the problem: [Constituent reported that the house at the mentioned location has been abandoned for 20 years. Constituent is concerned that this a fire hazard for the entire block. The constituent stated that the back wall fell off and the sides of the property are overgrown. Const stated that only the front yard is being cut every now and then by other residents.]

What is the nature of the problem: [Const. states this property had a fire over 10 years ago and has been abandoned. States building is falling apart and rats are running rampant on the property and coming onto nearby properties. Requesting inspection and contact with property owners]

Uncertain of exact street #: it is the rear of 47-51 Lexington St. I can see it from my backyard at 34 Princeton St. The residential building is vacant and the rear door is wide open. Weather, rodents, and unauthorized people can enter and further deteriorate the empty residential building.I request the city contact owner to secure the open rear door. Or the city should secure it. I reported to 9-1-1 maybe a week ago and the door is still unsecure. Thank you. |

States service location needs to be torn down, it is not fair to have to pay taxes and have to look at property given the condition: there has not been any lawnmowing taking place, the rear of the building has partially fell off, there is a major rodent problem, it is a major fire hazard and it has been abandoned for about 15 years.]

Constituent reported that a lot of animals and trash are on the property. Constituent stated that the windows and doors were not secured so on a windy day the area smells of smoke. Please assist.]

I live down the street from this building, which suffered a large fire in 2024. From what I can tell, nothing has happened to the charred remains. I believe it is now a nuisance and public health risk. Thank you! |
