Recently with Southie Family Fun Day, many trash barrels. The day after, only 2 remained. 1 in the playground area, and the 2nd at the opposite side near the circle of East Broadway. The police/emergency call box has been covered over with a blue canvas wrap for a month now. This morning my elderly mother was assaulted and the victim of an attempted unarmed robbery by 4 teenagers in the vicinity of this call box. If it were not for a Northeastern University Police Officer passing by, and intervening, she could have been severely injured. PLEASE FIX THE THE EMERGENCY CALL BOX AND MAKE IT AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC. Hello, I am writing this to complain of a man who brings a pitbull dog to Garvey Park on Neponset Ave. in Dorchester. The dog does not wear a muzzle. I walk to an from work and Garvey Park is on my route. When I encounter this dog I am very frightened. There are also children running around the park. There is also a man who walks two unmuzzled gray pitbulls, usually around the Ashmont and Adams street intersection around 8 am. I would feel more comfortable if these dogs were wearing muzzles. There is a huge problem with unleashed dogs on the greenway. My dog has been lunged at and/or bitten several times. Someone needs to enforce the leash laws at the park. | SR Area: [Design & Construction]
