Caller would like to make a complaint regarding the Sheriff Bennett signs throughout the City. States they are hideous and he is wondering if they will ever be taken down. This particular sign is across the street from Goodwill. |

See below: On April 9, 2014, I spoke to Ed Casey, a building inspector for the city regarding a complaint I filed with ISD regarding Pan Delis, which is a bakery, located at 228 Market St. in Brighton. The store painted a yellow background as well as large white lettering spelling out "BAKERY" above its front door and front windows. This is a clear violation of the sign code, and therefore I contacted ISD. Ed Casey told me that the business was cited for the violation. As of May 6th, the store has done nothing to resolve it. Could you please let me know where this cited violation stands and when the store will be putting up an appropriate sign?
