745 E Seventh St, South Boston, Ma, 02127Noise Complaint (or Excessive Noise / Disturbing the Peace) Location of Issue: Oliver Hazard Perry School, 745 E 7th Street, South Boston, MA 02127 Description: Excessive amplified music from the end-of-year celebration at Oliver Hazard Perry Elementary School. The music/speakers are playing at a very high volume and are clearly audible inside my apartment three blocks away, even with all air conditioners running and doors/windows closed. This level of noise is unreasonably loud during daytime hours and is disturbing the peace in the surrounding residential neighborhood. This appears to exceed Boston’s noise ordinance limits (70 dB daytime). Please investigate and ask the school to lower the volume on their sound system.
