Intersection Of Walworth St And South St, Roslindale, MaNew lane congestion at Walworth and South. The lanes are great; parking on Walworth, however, greatly contributes to congestion there, especially since Fallon Field is a popular spot this time of year. Four cars make for a very tight fit, with most drivers crossing the double yellow lines to avoid damaging the parked cars. To avoid being hit, many of the parked cars are now straddled on the sidewalks, which hinders pedestrian traffic. Is there anything that can be done in that area to prevent something ugly from happening? Thank you for your consideration. |

Intersection Of Lanark Rd And Sutherland Rd, Brighton, MaHello -- I live in Brighton and I park my car on Lanark Rd. To get off this one way street, you have to take a left onto Sutherland Rd but it's impossible to see if cars are coming down the street because the parked cars on the even side of the street. A lot of people park in a parking lot on Lanark so this is asking for people to be T-boned. Can a few parking spaces be removed so we can confidently see cars coming? It's so dangerous! |

267 Amory St, Jamaica Plain, Ma, 02130resubmitted from mobile case BCS-00267716: Crosswalk by 253 Amory Street in Jamaica Plain — crosses amory up to the SW corridor — is dangerous. When cars are parked right up to the crosswalk, because of bend in the road, pedestrian has to be nearly half way across the road before being able to see if car coming and cars speed on amory. What can be done with signage or parking restriction to increase xwalk visibility? |
CLOSED · #101006724977Case Noted. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. BTD is currently in the process of adding an extra NO STOPPING ANYTIME sign near #264 Amory St to reinforce the existing restriction. Also the other side of the street is currently NO PARKING. If vehicles are still parking in the restricted areas this is an enforcement issue. Please contact BTD Traffic Enforcement for further resolution. Please be patient with us during this process. Thank you for contacting 311 and BTD.
