Caller states that she  has been calling since Friday for a no parking anytime sign that is in front of 732 e second st that has pen writing with the dates 7/27-7/31 with no permit number. She spoke with BTD on Friday and they states they will send a supervisor out she spoke with BTD and was told to call construction management to find out if they are aware of the permits .caller would like this sign to be looked into and for a followup |

The constituent reports that vehicles parked in front of the driveway from the Brynx obstruct the view of oncoming traffic, making motor vehicle accidents and minor collisions common. The constituent requests that the parking spaces be set farther back from the driveway entrance to the private lot to improve visibility and safety at this address. Please assist. |

Constituent states that there is a curb cut at this address that is currently not in use as it is part of a gated playground, however they have received tickets for parking in front of it despite it not being an active driveway. Is requesting BTD look into this to make sure that they are not ticketed for blocking a nonexistant driveway |

Subject: Request for Investigation – New Towing Signage on Monsignor Albert A. Jacobbe Road I am requesting that the City of Boston immediately investigate recently installed “NO PARKING” signs posted along Monsignor Albert A. Jacobbe Road by or on behalf of Clippership Wharf. The signs state that all vehicles will be towed beginning July 31. This roadway has historically been used by neighborhood residents, many of whom possess valid Boston Resident Parking permits. Residents returned home to find these signs without prior notice or explanation. I respectfully request that the City determine and provide written confirmation of:     •    Whether Monsignor Albert A. Jacobbe Road is a public street, private way, or a private way open to public travel.     •    The exact public/private boundary for the roadway and curb where the new signs were installed.     •    Whether Clippership Wharf or its management has legal authority to prohibit curbside parking and authorize towing in this location.     •    Whether the required City approvals or permits were issued for these signs.     •    Whether the public was provided notice before enforcement begins.     •    Whether an accessibility review was conducted regarding the impact on elderly residents, individuals with disabilities, pregnant residents, families with young children, and others who rely on nearby curbside parking. Because towing is scheduled to begin on July 31, I respectfully request an expedited investigation and, if necessary, that enforcement be delayed until the City’s review is complete. Thank you. |

Resubmitted from mobile case BCS-00260173: I am writing to express a serious safety concern regarding people riding scooters at high speeds on the sidewalk in front of our restaurant. As a restaurant with an outdoor patio, we have customers dining just a few feet from the sidewalk, including families with young children. On a regular basis, individuals ride scooters very quickly through this area, creating a dangerous situation for both our guests and pedestrians. We have personally spoken to several riders and politely asked them to slow down or use the street where appropriate. Unfortunately, despite these conversations, the issue continues. We are concerned that it is only a matter of time before someone is injured. We would appreciate it if the City could look into possible solutions, such as increased enforcement, additional signage, or any other measures that would help improve safety in this area. |

Resubmitted from mobile case BCS-00260131: I am requesting that the City of Boston conduct an immediate safety assessment of the Erie Street and Glenway Street in Dorchester and install protective bollards or another appropriate barrier to prevent vehicles from entering the sidewalk. This intersection has experienced repeated crashes in which vehicles have left the roadway, mounted the sidewalk, and struck the fire hydrant. These incidents demonstrate an ongoing safety hazard and show that vehicles are capable of entering areas intended for pedestrians. My family's home is located on the corner of this intersection. Directly next to our home is a neighborhood playground, resulting in children and families regularly crossing this intersection and using the surrounding sidewalks. Every time a vehicle leaves the roadway, it places pedestrians, nearby homes, and public infrastructure at risk. The repeated loss of vehicle control at this location indicates that the existing roadway design is not adequately protecting the people who use this intersection every day. Protective bollards are a proven safety measure that could help prevent a future tragedy. I respectfully request that the City: Conduct an immediate traffic and pedestrian safety assessment. Review the documented crash history at this intersection. Evaluate and install protective bollards or another appropriate protective barrier to safeguard pedestrians, nearby homes, and public infrastructure. This is an opportunity to address a known safety hazard before a preventable injury or loss of life occurs. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. |

We are requesting a traffic safety evaluation at the exit of the Boston Islamic Center located at 5 Brinton Street, Roxbury, MA 02119. Vehicles regularly park on both sides of the street immediately adjacent to our driveway. This severely limits visibility of oncoming traffic and makes it difficult and unsafe for vehicles to safely exit the property, particularly during prayer times and community events when traffic is heavier. We respectfully request that the Boston Transportation Department evaluate this location and consider installing No Parking signs or establishing a No Parking/Tow Zone on both sides of the driveway to improve visibility and public safety. |

Resubmitted from BCS-00253207: Right turn only lane and associated signal are creating new safety issues at Tremont and Mass Ave. The southbound bike lane, especially without any physical separation and the overall degradation of markings, puts people at risk from cars turning right. There’s simply not enough room to wait between the curb and the turning cars. (This design is also a violation of the MUTCD’s rules for bike lanes and turn lanes at signalized intersections, opening the city to real liability in the event of a serious or fatal crash.) |

Reported anonymously through mobile queue(BCS-00253347):There is the base of what used to be a flex post here that almost killed me today —- it is invisible while biking - went over my handlebars and nearly got run over by a truck. Biking in this area is already terrifying every day. The base of a destroyed or removed flex post from a bike lane shouldnt be yet another obstacle we have contend with. Please remove it or better yet, create an actually protected bike lane. |
