Bent case around walk sign

Missing sign. Kids keep tripping on it. Missing street sign.

Chinatown families and Hudson St/Tyler St residents have raised this intersection's safety issue lately. On the intersection of Tyler St/Harvard St, it is very difficult to safely cross the street because cars parked on both sides prevent pedestrians from having a clear sightline of whether cars are coming down Tyler St or not. Requesting stop sign on Tyler St or some other safety tool to make crosswalk safer. Hard to tell in photo, site visit is clearer.

The intersection at Weld and Maple Street in West Roxbury is historically dangerous to pedestrians due to curves, sight lines and drivers going way too fast. Recently a new speed limit sign was installed nearing the intersection, but without any type of police presence or enforcement this is a throw away fix. Today while crossing with my neighbor and three children on bikes, a driver going well over the speed limit almost hit my neighbor while he was half way through the crosswalk, then proceeded to get out of his car and yell at my neighbor and our children who were lawfully using the crosswalk to return home from school. I strongly feel that this intersection is a horrible accident waiting to happen, and the city's fixes have thus far have been unsatisfactory and have done nothing to really fix the problem. I believe that a crosswalk signal or a light at this intersection would ensure safety for pedestrians at this crosswalk.

The intersection of Hilburn Street and Whitford Street is incredibly dangerous with cars speeding down Hilburn, not always stopping at the stop signs at Whitford and then speeding down the rest of Hilburn. There's been numerous accidents at the intersection. Can you put in a raised intersection, a small rotary, or do something else to control the speeding? It's dangerous for kids in the neighborhood.

Need to add pedestrian walk signal at the intersection of Main and Sullivan. There is no walk signal to get across Sullivan and it regularly causes close calls. Also, the Sullivan light needs to be updated so it is triggered by bicycles. I have seen kids on bikes run this light heading onto Main St from Sullivan because the light doesn’t change for bikes which is very dangerous.

The Dr Paul Dudley White Path crossing at North Beacon St on the Brighton side is so incredibly dangerous. The side with the light should at least have a crosswalk signal that counts down to let the pedestrians know how much longer they can safely walk. It’s a complete guessing game and cars run red lights there all the time. It is a very heavily trafficked section and someone is bound to get hurt.
