Rodent Activity
4 Ridgecrest Dr, West Roxbury, Ma, 02132I live at Ridgecrest Village Apartments in West Roxbury. In the past week I’ve seen multiple rats every day at different times, mainly in the parking lot between 15 Mann Street and 31 Ridgecrest Terrace, near the door on the second level of the Mann Street building that leads into that lot, and near the dumpsters across 4 Ridgecrest Drive. Around 6 p.m. today I saw at least 5–6 rats running from the dumpster along the mulch/bushes next to 29 Ridgecrest Terrace and toward the parking lot. Also seen a bunch of rats running into the yard and house of 4 Ridgecrest drive. I’ve lived here at Ridgecrest village about four years and this is the first time I’ve seen rats here, now daily and in broad daylight. I’m concerned they may start entering apartments and that dumpster and trash handling may be contributing to the problem.
