I first reported it to my landlord on August 24th, 2026. Visits initially focused on unrelated issues (a door handle, a dryer), until 2 weeks ago when plumbers identified the issue. Still, more plumbers have come out and quoted the same issue with no end in sight. The landlord has known about this problem before the lease. Requesting inspection and enforcement under the Massachusetts State Sanitary Code (105 CMR 410) regarding the landlord's obligation to repair installed appliances within a reasonable time.
