🚨ATTENTION ATTENTION: CITY OF BOSTON BOSTON PUBLIC WORKS AND ESPECIALLY EVERSOURCE, 😡EVERSOURCE DON'T CARE ABOUT BLACK AND BROWN RESIDENT OF THE UPHAMS CORNERS!!! on behalf of the Uphams Corner Community, residents in the area of 541 and 556 Columbia Road, could eversource please come and fix your manhole cover . This particular manhole cover is a ongoing Public Nuisance to the area of 541, 540 and 556 Columbia Road. Due to the fact this eversource manhole cover is raised from the street, every time a large empty capacity dump truck, Little dump truck, any vehicle that has empty trailers or trailers attached hit this raised eversource manhole cover the noise that radiates has been extremely loud and disturbing. It is constant it is causing extreme Public Health and great diminishment of Quality of Life in the area. There are multiple people who suffer from PTSD, including but not limited to An AMERICAN VETERAN, myself and others. There has been multiple 311 complaints submitted on this issue and multiple complaints/tickets submitted to eversource to rectify this issue. Our community especially in American veteran and others with PTSD NEED RELIEF. Currently, there are four active complaints submitted directly to eversource and 3 to 4 active submissions of the city of Boston 311 complaints.

The showers at the Curley Community Center in South Boston (indoor and outdoor) are in need of repair. None of them are working properly or not at all.

👏🏿👏🏾 ATTENTION ATTENTION ATTENTION : On behalf of the Uphams Corner Community, especially a United States Veteran and a Former City of Boston Gang Intervention and Prevention Youth Services Employee, we would like to take this opportunity to thank SHEERIN CONSTRUCTION utility contractors of Boston Massachusetts, for repairing a hole in Columbia Road that was causing an incredible nuisance problem for all the residents of the area. Every time a empty dump truck would hit this hole it would sound like a bomb went off in the area, thanks to the hardworking guys of this company Mr. J, Teddy and guys, The citizens of this area will probably have a good night's sleep. However there is another concern manhole cover that's equally causing the problem and it's owned by EVERSOURCE. Once again we would like to thank the safety professional men who resolve this particular problem Good job guys.
