300 Fenway, BostonRequest installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFBs) at the marked crosswalk on Fenway drive on the Simmons College block (between Avenue-Louis Pasteur and Palace Rd). There are pedestrian signs but no flashing lights, and drivers regularly fail to yield. It is also a relatively high-speed driving zone with lots of foot traffic from students. On Oct 15, 2026, a driver accelerated and swerved around me while I was in the crosswalk (I believe the driver was distracted), in addition to a car ahead intentionally speeding up from stopped to cut me off while I was in the crosswalk (this driver was intentional). This is not an isolated incident.
