Heavy construction equipment is currently parked in a Resident Parking space on our residential street. While the contractor has a permit allowing parking Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, that permit has expired for the day, and the vehicle appears to be intended to remain in this space throughout the weekend. This is a Resident Parking Only space during the overnight restriction period beginning at 6:00 PM. Please issue citations immediately for the current violation and again early Monday morning if the vehicles remain in violation of the overnight resident parking restrictions. Please do not allow contractors to use residential permit parking as long-term storage for construction equipment. Construction has already caused significant disruption for neighborhood residents, and these parking spaces are needed by the people who live here in our densely populated neighborhood
