This is a formal request to the ISD Environmental Sanitation Division for immediate rodent extermination and ongoing monitoring at Upham's Corner.The public greenery area directly in front of 535 Columbia Road has a severe, ongoing rodent infestation. Pests are multiplying rapidly in the green space and public seating area. This has become a continuous ongoing and unmanaged crisis causing a severe public health risk, chronic mental health stress for residents, and a heavily diminished quality of life for the community.We request that code enforcement inspectors immediately:Conduct an emergency site inspection of this specific greenery.Deploy professional abatement/baiting mechanisms inside the active burrows.Establish a continuous monitoring protocol to ensure eradication.Investigate the immediate perimeter for sanitation code or waste violations feeding the vector.This requires urgent intervention.
