Hello! I submitted the two attached requests, both of which were closed with no resolution, response, or explanation. I will admit I'm frustrated. It has been over a week and nothing. My issue is the city has allowed the residential blocks around mass and Harrison to be a place to congregate and use drugs. This is well known but somehow never improves. The city can't claim ignorance or that they don't know, again, it is well documented. As a very predictable result people in the area are always on private property and frequently leave messes that apparently become the responsibility of homeowners that have no power to change the situation the city knows about but doesn't change. This illustration. The two requests from over a week ago were from when someone was hiding out in our parking area behind the fence by our AC units. The cotys CRT team came by (huge thanks, at least they try to do something even as our leaders don't care), removed the lady, but her trash is still here. The two cases are resolved by the city coming by, taking a picture of her garbage, and acknowledging that it is garbage. But it's my responsibility to clean up after what the city allows to happen but doesn't take any sort of responsibility for? I just need an answer and a reasonable solution. Attached are the 2 original requests and a picture of the trash as it still sits today. Thanks!
