Intersection Of Ring Rd And Massachusetts Tpke W, Boston, Ma

Boston Police recently reported enforcement efforts related to illegal scooter and moped activity in the South End, Fenway, and Back Bay, and similar issues are occurring frequently in the Copley Place and Prudential Center area, particularly along Ring Road. Scooters and mopeds are regularly parking in clearly marked “No Parking” zones, using sidewalks and curbs to travel through pedestrian areas, and nearly striking pedestrians. In addition, many operators are not using designated pickup areas for nearby restaurants and instead stop illegally, creating safety hazards and traffic issues. Increased enforcement and monitoring in the Ring Road area around Copley Place and the Prudential Center would help address these ongoing public safety concerns
