Rodent activity in this area is out of control. Between the bandoned house and the dumpster from Advocate health - I can’t keep up. I have set traps in my yard and I can’t keep up with disposing of them. The city needs to take action.

Pothole on backside of charbonnier st building 464, behind parking space

On October 20, 2026, I paid at the multi-space pay-by-plate kiosk with machine ID 600801154 on Charles Street, on the block between Boylston Street and Beacon Street beside the Public Garden. My paid session ran from 1:05 PM to 2:41 PM, and the City’s electronic receipt shows the correct plate number. My car, parked on that same block, nevertheless received violation number 842504808 for “Meter Fee Unpaid” at 1:53 PM, in the middle of the paid session. This ticket was issued wrongfully, and it raises serious concerns about the reliability of the new pay-by-plate system, especially because the kiosks give no physical receipt and drivers who paid correctly may assume the mistake was theirs and simply pay the fine. The ticket lists the meter number as “dd001,” which does not match the kiosk where I paid. This suggests that payments made at this kiosk are not reaching enforcement officers’ devices, or are being recorded against the wrong block. Please investigate how this kiosk is linked to enforcement so that other drivers who pay correctly are not ticketed. I have filed a separate appeal for the violation itself.
