Appian Way & Brentwood StThe crossing guard at the corner of Brentwood St and Franklin St in Lower Allston is barring cars from turning on to Brentwood St and any traffic flow in Brentwood St (except for buses) between 8 and 9 AM. I live on Brentwood St, and this is making it very difficult to leave in the morning. From my understanding crossing guards are not supposed to direct traffic and there are no signs indicating that Brentwood St is ever closed to traffic at those times. When I approached her she was incredibly rude and kept citing her "training". It would be great if we could have someone new be assigned to this corner.
