10 Salem Street Ave, Charlestown, Ma, 02129Several neighbors called 311 this morning to report Saturday construction going on all morning until now at 10 Salem Street Avenue, Charlestown. There’s no permit to built a deck and there’s no “Saturday” permit. Why is this deck construction being allowed? A group of neighbors have been contacting the City and ISD since this began. Why are these residents allowed to build a deck when others on the street have gone through the permitting process a number of times and been DENIED. Should we all just build our decks like 10 Salem Street Avenue and ignore the process? Seems like they’re getting away with it. Maybe I’ll try that instead of applying again for a permit.
