I am filing a formal complaint regarding a licensed Boston taxi driver who explicitly refused a fare based on my destination. On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at approximately 6 pm, my partner and myself approached this taxi at the South Station taxi stand. I provided my destination address (60 Thomas Park in South Boston) and showed the driver the location on a map. The driver falsely claimed not to understand the address and refused to take me, instead passing me over to accept a different, seemingly easier fare.
