80 Empire St, Allston, Ma, 02134On Tuesday, multiple tenants, including myself, reported that the building’s heat was not functioning. A technician restored heat on Wednesday, but it was unregulated and caused excessively high temperatures. We were informed by the property manager that an additional part was needed. By Friday, the heat failed again, despite an incoming blizzard forecast. As of Saturday afternoon, the system was still not working. A technician returned Saturday evening, but the radiators began cooling again within approximately 30 minutes. Another service request was placed. Although some tenants reported partial improvement on Sunday, several radiators remained nonfunctional. As of Monday, many apartments—including mine—have lost heat again. My apartment temperature is currently below 62°F without supplemental heating, and multiple tenants are relying on space heaters. * I have added screenshots of texts and images of a thermometer we purchased to teach tempatures*
