Metal plates on the roadway outside 39 Saint Botolph Street have been in place for several weeks and appear to be loose or improperly secured. Every time vehicles drive over them, they make extremely loud banging noises that can be heard inside nearby apartments, especially overnight. This is creating a serious noise nuisance and sleep disruption for residents. Please inspect urgently and require the responsible utility/contractor to secure, repair, or remove the plates.
