Hi, on Friday 7/31/2026 between 10:40 AM - 10:50 AM, at the intersection of Tremont St and Oak St W, while the "Walk" sign is on, and the traffic light facing Tremont St was "Red", my mother and I were crossing the crosswalk (from Mass Pike Tower to Elliot Norton Park), two cars still turned right in front of us, totally ignore people crossing the street, and that intersection does have a "No Turn on Red" sign. Many cars ignore that sign, but I never experience it when there was pedestrians actively crossing the crosswalk with cars turning in front of the pedestrians. I think the city should install camera to fine drivers who ignore the rules of the road. I noticed drivers these days often ran the red light by speeding up, which make the streets quite unsafe for other drivers and pedestrians. That happened many, many times at the intersection of Washington St and Herald St. The traffic light facing Washington St has turned red for a while, and you would still see 2-3 cars speeded up and ran the red light, while the traffic light has turned green facing Herald St.
