  • Sidewalk Repair

47 Rutland St, Boston, MA 02118

Section of brick sidewalk has collapsed/heaved, likely due to nearby street tree root growth. Multiple bricks have come completely loose and are scattered off to the side, leaving an open dirt gap in the walkway (roughly 2-3 feet wide). The surrounding bricks are uneven and tilted, creating a trip hazard for pedestrians. This is a historic brick sidewalk, so repair should match existing brick paving rather than being patched with asphalt or concrete. This is in front of 47 Rutland Street, Boston MA 02118
