  • Poor Conditions of Property

147 Orient Ave, East Boston, Ma, 02128

Unacceptable Trash accumulation including biohazard waste products blowing onto private property from the dumpster belonging to the DON ORIEN HOME on Seaview Avenue. This has become a regular occurrence and to prevent future nuisance, we demand that the private dumpsters belonging to the nursing home install an enclosed fence to conceal the area and prevent the garbage from being blown around the neighborhood and onto private property.

I’m not sure how many reports need to be filed before this issue is addressed, but the way Advocate Healthcare is managing their trash has become a consistent hazard to the surrounding community and abutting properties. Debris from their property ends up on mine on a daily basis due to the lack of proper trash management and cleanliness. If this situation is not promptly resolved, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to the Board of Health. I would appreciate immediate attention to this issue and a plan to ensure it is properly maintained going forward.
