Snow Plowing/Salting
86 R American Legion Hwy, Dorchester, Ma, 02124Very much appreciate all of the plowing that the city workers are doing but there are two blind spots I think should be addressed: there is no way (on foot or on bike) to access Franklin Park from American Legion Highway. As you can see from this picture, instead of plowing all the snow into the grass on the sides, they piled all the snow directly onto the pedestrian entrances, both here and at the Franklin Hill intersection. So if you need to access it from Franklin Hill, not only do you need to walk down the street (as I had to) to where the BlueBikes are located (inaccessible due to the careless piling of snow by the way), but even there you can just barely climb over the pile of snow to enter. There needs to be a way of piling the snow while leaving the park entrances open. Thank you.
