Street Light Electrical Safety
22 Mendum St, Boston
The City of Boston has installed street lights in Roslindale that are way too bright. Boston is way behind other municipalities in that the city does not have ordinances in place that prohibit excessive unpleasant street lighting. I live at 22 Mendum street in Roslindale. It was a pleasant place to live until the city put in high intensity LED lights and now it is like Times Square. I believe these lights are dangerously bright. They will force me to install black out shades in all windows as the lights are disrupting my daughter’s night time sleep. How could the city make such a mistake? I am at a loss for words. It is like broad daylight at 10:30 pm on my street. I hope to hear back from someone about this dreadful situation within 24 hours. These lights must be replaced!
