Intersection Of Conley St And William T Morrissey Blvd, Dorchester, Ma

The user-activated crosswalk stop signal at Morrissey Blvd and Conley St. changes from yellow to red too fast. It's great for users that the button activates the signal immediately, but I used it Thursday and one of several speeding drivers had to come to a literal screeching halt. This is unsafe for crosswalk users, some of whom might start crossing when the light changes, without observing traffic. I acknowledge that drivers shouldn't speed on Morrissey, but that is the reality crosswalk users face.
