My search of the city's open data ledger and current permit databases returns zero active, issued Foundation, Excavation, or Long Form Building Permits for this address. Because there is a high risk of structural shifting, I am writing to formally request an immediate site visit and emergency inspection by an ISD Building Inspector to verify the following: 1. Permit Compliance: Confirm whether valid excavation, shoring, or foundation permits have been legally issued for this work, or if this is unpermitted construction. 2. Structural Engineering Plans: Verify that certified, stamped structural engineering drawings, underpinning plans, and property line protection layouts have been filed with and approved by the ISD Plans Room. 3. Site Safety: Ensure proper structural mitigation is in place so that the integrity of my adjacent property line and home foundation is not compromised by this digging. If the contractors do not possess the approved ePlan documentation and job-site binder showing issued structural permits on-site, I request that ISD issue an immediate Stop Work Order until the engineering plans can be publicly verified.
