Whoever plowed for the city in last Monday’s storm pushed the snow onto private property and we can’t take our cars out of the garage .In the rear of 312 Centre Street Jamaica Plain the city plow piled all the snow onto the private parking lot and buried the cars can’t get out .This has been the situation since The morning of Tuesday January 27th.I lived here all my life and have seen tougher winters than this . This is the worst job plowing I’ve ever experienced . No follow-up , leaving snow on private property . Blocking access to personal property for over a week !! Multiple request to 311 with pictures have gotten no response . If Mayor Menino or Walsh were still around there would never be an issue like this ! Then you want to raise taxes by 13% for this kind of service ? Give me a break . |

There is a stretch of the sidewalk on Mountfort St (between Park Dr and St Marys St), on the side closest to the highway where a number of thin, sharp branches are growing through the fence at eye level. This makes it impossible to walk on that side of the sidewalk and with the snow leaving only a thin path, it's even harder for people to walk there and avoid the branches, which can be difficult to see. This is a highly used walkway.
