Illegal Parking
512 Talbot Ave, Dorchester, Ma, 02124A vehicle is again parked in the unsafe area at Talbot Avenue and Argyle Street that has been reported repeatedly as a pedestrian and bicycle safety concern. At this point, Boston might be better served by offering an app where residents simply photograph the problem, generate the service ticket themselves, identify the responsible department, and close the loop without involving a middleman. Everything else seems to be moving toward self-service, and the current 311 process often appears to consist of residents documenting the issue, submitting the ticket, following up, and then discovering that it was closed without the problem being corrected. Multiple reports have been submitted about this location, yet the unsafe condition remains. Please do not close this ticket merely because it has been forwarded to another department. Please identify who is responsible, confirm what corrective action will be taken, and provide an expected completion date.
