71 Clifford St, Roxbury, Ma, 02119Crackheads again BLOCKING SIDEWALK with COOLER, two CHAIRS and a WAGON. BOS911 caller defends their right to block sidewalk, asking if they are blocking sidewalk. COMMON SENSE is DEAD. Boston 911 operators routinely respond to quality-of-life complaints with **ANNOYANCE AND DISMISSIVENESS** rather than acknowledgment that a problem exists. 😤 This is unacceptable. **CITY HALL** directs residents to call **911** for street disorder; **311** handles other issues. **BPD** takes no direct calls and says to dial 911. The result is a **CLOSED LOOP OF FINGER-POINTING** 🔄 that leaves the actual resident -- a **TAXPAYING, WORKING PERSON** who simply wants to come home to a livable street -- with nowhere to turn. The specific intersection in question is **NOT A SURPRISE TO ANYONE**. 📋 A search of **311 AND 911 RECORDS** would surface hundreds, if not thousands, of complaints spanning years: **PROSTITUTION, DRUG USE, PUBLIC INTOXICATION, PUBLIC URINATION AND DEFECATION** on the sidewalk -- in broad daylight and at night, most days of the week. Every **ELECTED OFFICIAL AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEE** in this city has access to that data. This is not a **DISCOVERY PROBLEM**. It is a **WILL PROBLEM**. 🎯 Residents are not being unreasonable. They are being **FAILED** by people who are **PAID PRECISELY TO ADDRESS THIS**, and who have chosen not to. 💰
