Construction Debris
142 Salem St, Boston
Writing about scaffolding in the North End on Salem St sidewalk near the corner of Prince St that has been in place for approximately three years. During that time I have not seen any construction or repair work take place. The scaffolding blocks the sidewalk, permitting only one person to travel underneath while forcing other pedestrians to walk into the street to avoid it. The supports appear to be falling off of the curb and I am worried this is a safety hazard. This is a busy intersection as the opposite side of the street is blocked off for construction, and Bova's bakery frequently attracts large lines/crowds. Is there any update on whatever work is being done at this site? Could the scaffolding be removed?

Pothole
11 Nevins St, Boston
Potholes on Nevins St. between Boston Medical Center Brighton and Brighton Highschool. Last week a member of the hospital staff twisted her ankle while walking down Nevins Street. I have attached photos of the potholes as well as the injured ankle.
